• You make new link words by changing one letter at a time using shift buttons to create a blank or clicking on a letter to highlight it

• You use the alphabet bank to replace the blank or highlghted letter creating a new word.

• You create a chain of words until your link word matches the anchor word.

• You score points based on letter values and chain length.

• Invalid link words break the current chain.

• You can concede a round at any time.

• You have 3 broken chains allowed.

• Play level determines the number of hints allowed per target word and scoring penalties for using them.

• Easy - 3 hints, no score penalty

• Medium - 3 hints, -10% score penalty if any are used.

• Hard - 3 hints, -10%/25%/50% score penalty based on number used.

• Expert - No hints. No penalties.
